Is an audiogram enough to determine hearing aid candidacy? When working with patients with mild hearing loss, audiologists describe uncertainty and differing opinions on when, or if to provide hearing aids. The KiPA group, an organization of audiologists working in research, clinical practice, and industry developed a web-based, clinical tool to assist audiologists with counseling patients with mild hearing loss.

Describe how to correct the HL audiogram using the RECD.
Define the speech intelligibility index (SII).
