Abstract:
While most commonly applied to the achievement of business goals, well-constructed Objective and Key Results systems can also be used in the identification and attainment of personal and professional development goals. Having the discipline to articulate aspirational yet achievable goals and then creating effective action plans to close the gap between current and target state takes a unique skill set. Building on the fundamentals introduced in Part 1, Part 2 of this interactive two-part session will briefly review the key principles of an effective OKR model and empower attendees to apply the principles to achieve their own goals.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the primary principles of an effective OKR system.
  • Apply these principles to create a set of personal/professional development OKRs.
  • Discuss how to most effectively achieve articulated goals.
