The world of audiology has many areas of focus. Tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance is a very important area to provide for the community you serve. When we work at the highest level of our scope of practice, we need to make sure we are evaluating the patient as a whole person. Tinnitus can often be overlooked as a major concern for a patient if not evaluated correctly. The patient will leave feeling hopeless and frustrated if we do not set them up for success. This presentation is to set you up to provide the basic level of tinnitus understanding and to inspire you to be a tinnitus practitioner.
