My name is April Groulx, BS (Au.D. anticipated May 2024). I’m an audiology graduate student at the University of Connecticut. Throughout my graduate career, I've gained necessary audiological skill sets through many clinical placements.

Title: Effects of Loud Sound Levels Through Personal Listening Devices.
Designed and conducted study to prevent noise exposure from personal listening devices for UConn students. Purpose: informative and preventative on the effects of noise exposure and how to self-monitor safe listening levels.
Capstone research in Hearing Conservation Lab at UConn.

01/2022-Present: “Average Battery Life of Rechargeable Hearing Aids: Comparing 3 Manufacturers”
Purpose: Measure average hearing aid battery life compared to marketed claims.
