Dr. Brian Earl trained as a clinical audiologist at the University of Arizona and the University of Texas Medical Branch. He then continued on to the University of Kansas where he completed a PhD and postdoctoral training in the area of auditory neurophysiology. His current research at the University of Cincinnati includes the development of a clinical test of auditory nerve survival as well as determining the effectiveness of oncolytic therapy for eradication of cholesteatoma. Dr. Earl’s efforts in service include regular involvement in community outreach clinics, participation in interdisciplinary healthcare trips to Mexico, and year-round provision of audiological services via telehealth.
