Elizabeth Rivera Rosario is currently a 3rd year Au.D./Ph.D. student at the University at Buffalo. She completed her B.S. in Biology with emphasis in Biomedical Sciences in the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla where she discovered her love for research. She currently works as a research assistant at the University at Buffalo.
She is an active member of her local Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) chapter and serves as the Community Outreach Chair. In her work, she has organized a fundraiser for the Buffalo Walk-4-Hearing event and has worked on organizing online social media challenges to bring public awareness to hearing health.
In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys drawing, reading fantasy, science fiction, and historical fantasy books, and writing. Occasionally, she enjoys baking a Victoria Sponge cake and cooking her favorite foods from Puerto Rico.
