Dr. Jayashree Seethapathy Ph.D (SLHS), MASLP is an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Audiology at Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, SRIHER. Her research area includes hearing monitoring in high risk infants especially preterms, and ototoxicity monitoring. Dr. Jayashree has published numerous works in these fields. She is currently co-guiding a PhD thesis on 'audio-vestibular monitoring programme for Head and Neck Cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy and chemoradiotherapy'. Throughout her career, she has garnered a number of prizes and recognitions for her research papers and presentations. She was recently awarded the "Muktesh award" at ISHACON 2022. She is an Associate Editor of the Bangalore Speech and Hearing Trust's Journal of Hearing, Language, and Speech. She also serves as a reviewer in many international journals including the International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology, European Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Hearing sciences, American journal of perinatology, Frontiers in Pediatrics, Pediatric research etc.
