Madeline Gibson, a 3rd year Doctoral candidate at the University of California San Diego and San Diego State University, Madeline is determined to make a difference in the world of hearing and speech. Her journey began at the University of Redlands where she graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2020.
Madeline's passion for research within the field of audiology is undeniable. She's currently working on several projects, including the audiologic outcomes in ABI patients, the use of rTMS and tinnitus, and the genetic factors in the pathophysiology of acute otitis media. Madeline is also actively engaged in broadening the field of audiology with an emphasis on translational research. She's driven by a desire to make a real impact, and with her passion, she's well on her way to achieving her goals.
