Sharon Miller is an assistant professor at The University of North Texas. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Audiology from The University of Minnesota and has a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Northwestern University. The long-term goal of her research is to establish an integrative program that combines behavioral and electrophysiological measures to address fundamental questions about brain plasticity and language in adults and children with hearing loss. By identifying biomarkers underlying successful speech and language outcomes, she hopes to develop more targeted auditory rehabilitation protocols for persons with hearing loss.
