Maggie Zink, BS, BA (she/her/hers)

Maggie Zink is a current PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh and a former opera singer. Maggie is advised by Dr. Aravind Parthasarathy and Dr. Bharath Chandrasekaran in the Translational Auditory Neuroscience Laboratory and the SoundBrain Laboratories, respectively. Her research is focused on investigating the role of hidden and overt hearing loss and cognitive-communication disorders in cognitive effort, and associated fatigue, in speech perception. More broadly, she seeks to better understand the relationship between cognitive and perceptual decline.
