Dr. Megan Hedman joined the Bill Daniels Center for Children’s Hearing at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) in 2013 after receiving her doctoral degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder in May 2013. Dr. Hedman is the Clinical Practice Specialist for Auditory Evoked Potentials at CHCO, overseeing clinical practice guidelines, training audiologists, and managing research projects. She is a founding provider in the Microtia Clinic, as she has right-sided microtia and atresia. Because of her own hearing loss and congenital anomaly, she has taken much interest in early intervention, educational access, self-advocacy and Bone Conduction Hearing Devices (BCHD). She is also active in audiology student supervision and mentoring and is credentialed as a Certificate Holder-Audiology Preceptor through the American Board of Audiology. She is also co-investigator in the Speech Perception Over Time study, co-investigator in the High Frequency Interacoustics Toneburst study and participates and the COEHDI Tele-Audiology Subcommittee.
