With research focused on development of evidence-based interventions for individuals with hearing loss, current NIH funded studies are: (1) Application of Health Belief Models to Predict Hearing Healthcare Outcomes (2014-2019); and, (2) Aging, Cognition and Hearing Evaluation in Elders (ACHIEVE) Randomized Trial (2017-2022). Disciplinary recognition includes the American Academy of Audiology’s Distinguished Service Award (2011), Ear & Hearing’s Editor’s Award (2016), and membership in the International Collegium of Rehabilitative Audiology. As Vice Provost, my efforts are focused on elevating the planning, performance and accountability cycle, as exemplified by development of USF’s Archivum Faculty Information System (FIS); development of the USF integrated academic planning program; and, co-leading development of an Information Governance program. Over the next three years, my work will focus on the successful consolidation of SACSCOC accreditation, completion of FIS, and formalizing the Information Governance program.
