Elin Karlsson is a PhD and registered audiologist. She has a PhD in disability research at Örebro University, Sweden. She has a master’s degree in audiology and has clinical experience within audiological diagnostics and rehabilitation. Elin now works as a researcher at Audiological Research Centre, Region Örebro County, Sweden and is affiliated to Örebro University. She has also been teaching at the audiologist program at Örebro University. So far, her main areas of interest in research concern audiological rehabilitation, the International Classification of Functioning Disability and Health (ICF), audiological questionnaires and instruments, instrument development and psychometric evaluation methods.
