Dr. Gans is the Founder & CEO of The American Institute of Balance. AIB's recognized as one of the largest and best-known diagnostic, treatment, and research facilities for equilibrium and vestibular disorders in the USA. Dr. Gans received his PhD from The Ohio State University in Auditory-Vestibular Physiology. For over 30 years he has been a recognized leader in this specialty, presenting over 150 international papers in 35 countries and authored numerous scientific articles and textbook chapters. In addition, he's developed diagnostic and treatment protocols for imbalance, oscillopsia and BPPV. He is a Life Member of AAA, ASHA and is a Research Scientist Member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Academy of Otolaryngology-HNS. He received an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from A.T. Still University and Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from AAA. He served on the AAA Board of Directors for 6 years and as President in 2004-2005.
