Ananya Bhattacharya, PhD (she/her/hers)

Ananya Bhattacharya is the Head of Medical Affairs & Safety organization in Fennec Pharmaceutical. In this role Ananya leads a team of Field Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Content, and the Medical Information Call Center with significant cross-functional and global collaboration. Ananya is also responsible for the oversight of Pharmacovigilance activities.
Ananya joined Fennec with over 17 years of pharma experience, most recently from Bristol Myers Squibb where she spent 14+ years in different roles in Medical Affairs & Safety, supporting the development and commercialization of the Immuno-Oncology assets. Prior to joining BMS, Ananya also worked in Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals in Regulatory Affairs.
Ananya has a PhD degree in Molecular Genetics and worked as a Research Scientist at Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for several years before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2004
