Audiologist with extensive clinical, research and teaching experience, Ieda is excited about all things hearing and technology.
She has a B.Sc. in Audiology and Speech-language pathology from the University of Sao Paulo, was awarded a scholarship to pursue a Ph.D in audiology at Nagoya University, followed by a post-doctoral research fellowship at The University of British Columbia in auditory neurophysiology. Her clinical experience spans across many fields within audiology, from pediatric to geriatric, from assessment to rehabilitation, and from hospitals to private practice.
She is currently a research audiologist with the Sonova Innovation Centre Toronto working on hearing technology.
