The purpose of this project was to investigate relationships among vestibular disorders using patient-derived data obtained with the Dizziness Symptom Profile (DSP) and compare those results to data reported using physician diagnosis. Specifically, data were analyzed to determine probabilities of co-occurrence for vestibular disorders. Results were similar to epidemiologic studies. 28 – 47% of patients endorsed two or more diagnoses. BPPV and vestibular migraine were the most common single and co-occurring diagnoses. Results support interrelations among vestibular disorders that should be considered by audiologists.
