Evelyn Davies-Venn is an academic faculty member in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, at the University of Minnesota. She has specialized training as an auditory scientist (Ph.D.) and a clinician (AuD). Her research is translational in nature, bridging the gap between bench science and clinical implementation science in order to improve access to hearing healthcare and treatment outcomes for people with hearing loss. Her many areas of expertise include auditory cognitive neuroscience, computational modeling, geographic information systems, auditory perception, and psychoacoustics. She is a renowned author and a national and international public speaker. She has a track record of collaborating on research projects with domestic and international research institutions, start-ups, and multinational corporations specializing in hearing technologies and serving people with hearing loss.
